15th Coq d'Or Skiopen
Renault, Rossignol, Eurosport and Virgin Radio Trophy in Megeve from 25rd to 28rd mars 2009

Organised jointly by the ESF and the FFS (French Ski Federation), the Coq d'Or Skiopen brings together ESF pupils and young skiers from sports clubs affiliated to the FFS in a major national event. Its aim is to foster a spirit of competition but above all to reveal young talent. Every year the top competitors take part in the national youth programme designed to take them to the highest level... And turn them into future champions!
1,500 young skiers take part in the Coq dҏr Skiopen every year. This four-day event consists of the Skiopen pre-qualifiers (giant slalom), the Skiopen qualifiers (giant slalom) and the National Skiercross (technical courses), the final (parallel slalom) and an ESF Cup.
